CAROLINE BLUE "Caroline Blue" USA act Caroline Blue founded as a brainchild of guitar player,singer,author and leader-Wayne W. Johnson. He established himself previously as a respectable musician and he performed in several groups. During the 1993 he started to think about a group with aq new look, and available wanting standards. Caroline Blue works in New York circuit,and they are trio line-up,with musical approach nearer to past standards. Their self-titled full-length were released in their own,and introduced themselves as a hard rock outfit with touches of classic heavy,and addition of melodic parts. And we could threat them as a melodic hard rock band, who are judging by they psychology, in the golden 80s. They are explosive and attractive, and that's a clear, after listening a few tacts of their music. Judging by performing style, they know to remind on Candian wizards-Santers, or USA act-The Rods. But,under the mentioned form, they sustain enough original elements. A few tunes deserves to be mentioned,as a "I'm No Angel","Hard Life","The Queen of Pleasure". On domestic field, they have respectable followers and fun basis, and they confirmed on their own example,that classic hard rock nowadays still stands strong. Rating: 8.5/10 |
